Tổng quan Vigifriche Occitanie
"An agricultural wasteland is defined as "an area or land without an active human occupant, which is consequently not or no longer exploited, productive or even maintained. It results from the agricultural abandonment of land (permanent abandonment or over a long period ) unlike traditional fallow which is only a temporary period of rest for the soil.”
The revaluation of agricultural wastelands constitutes an opportunity to revitalize territories, improve food sovereignty, preserve landscapes, protect and restore biodiversity, limit natural and health risks, urban sprawl and the closure of landscapes.
Engaging in the reconquest of wastelands involves first locating them, in order to be able to identify their owners, make them aware of your territorial project, consider land control of the assets concerned (purchase or rental) and allow the implementation of concerted approaches for their give a new direction.
This is why Safer Occitanie has developed Vigifriche, a collaborative mobile application dedicated to the geolocation of agricultural wastelands.
With a simple click, Vigifriche allows you to locate and qualify wastelands according to a pre-established typology, according to 8 classes (herbaceous agricultural wasteland, herbaceous wasteland with the presence of woody plants, low shrubby wasteland, high shrubby wasteland, abandoned olive grove, abandoned orchard, orchard abandoned chestnut tree and abandoned vine)
Equipped with a geolocation system and a cartographic space (aerial photographs and cadastral plans) on the scale of Occitanie, it makes it possible to locate and characterize a wasteland identified in the field while visualizing the wasteland inventories previously carried out, making updates easier.
Vigifriche is made available free of charge to members of the Regional Community of Agricultural Wastelands of Occitanie.
So that new users of the tool can quickly get up to speed, a user guide and an illustrated typology of wastelands are made available on the Safer website and sent on request. The data collected via Vigifriche is processed by Safer and centralized on a dedicated server, as it happens. It contains the following data: name of the watchman, date of entry, georeferencing, typology of the wasteland (or land use observed in the event of cancellation of a wasteland) and cadastral data of the plot."
